Beaver: A poetry collection
This was one of the more interesting assignments we accomplished this year. Many of us had never written poetry of pretty much any kind before and this forced us to broaden our horizons a little bit. Into each of these poems is a huge amount of effort and thought. We wrote the poems over the course of several weeks. Also, in class we read many different poems from different genres. For these we wrote a short journal piece which I have not included because they often reference a specific poem and without the poem they don't make sense.
Some of the poems written here I have submitted to the literary journal for school so if you look at the next edition you might see them!
People might wonder why I named the journal "Beaver." I was at a loss as to what I should call the journal so I asked my brother for a random animal name. He said "beaver," and the rest is history.
Note: Due to technical issues the numbering in the bottom corner does not match up with the order on the webpage
